As Wade sends out his Weedle, Kin decides to stick with Aether and quickly calls out a strategy to him. Aether starts off the round by charging in at Weedle, taking the bug's Poison Sting attack, before Knocking Weedle Off its feet and sending it backwards. Weedle is disoriented momentarily while Aether Tackles it hard, but quickly gets up and fires a String Shot at the Shuppet, pinning him to a tree. Weedle took more damage this round, but Aether is beginning to show some signs of fatigue, energy-wise.

"Err... well, this is a bit of a problem." Kin mumbled sheepishly. "Well, they can't attack you without freeing you, so give them a Tackle when you get free. Until then, just chill."

Things aren't looking good for Kin and Aether as the Shuppet gets pinned to a tree by Weedle's String Shot. Since he can't move, Aether simply stays put while Weedle comes in for a Poison Sting, loosening the string a little in the process. Aether uses this wiggle room to Tackle Weedle backwards, but as he is still stuck to some string, Weedle rams back into Aether for another Poison Sting. This sends Aether spinning around the tree like a tether ball, before he falls to the ground shaken up, but completely free of the string now. Unfortunately, the poison seemed to have taken hold this time, as Aether looks a little sickly. Aether took a little more damage this round, while Weedle used a little more energy. Aether doesn't look like he'll last much longer at this rate. "Double Poison Stings!" Wade calls out.

Kin stared in horror as Aether was smashed into the tree.
"Err... don't try to do anything this round, Aether. Just eat this Oran Berry." He called as he tossed his Pokémon one of the blue berries he had received earlier.

Fearing for his Pokémon's health, Kin quickly tosses an Oran Berry toward his ailing Shuppet, and Aether gobbled it up without hesitation. The effects seemed to take hold immediately, as the ghost Pokémon looked visibly refreshed, despite still being poisoned. With himself now refreshed and ready to keep battling, Aether braced himself as Weedle struck him with two successive Poison Stings. Although they were not very effective, the two attacks knocked him backward. Aether took a little damage this round, but overall if looking fresh once again despite the poison. Weedle took no damage but used up a little energy.

"That's it!" Kin called excitedly "We're still in this! Aether, triple Tackle attack!"

Feeling much fresher than before, Kin decided to make use of Aether's replenished energy supply and go for the all-out offense against Weedle. Aether nodded quickly and charged in at the bug, Tackling it backwards. Weedle quickly retaliated with a Poison Sting, dealing just a little damage before Aether hit it back with a second Tackle. As Aether came in for a third Tackle, he rammed Weedle at the moment it used String Shot, sticking the two Pokémon together while they fell on Weedle's back. Weedle took much more damage than Aether this round while Aether used up more energy, but how will Kin handle this new situation?

Kin raised his eyebrow as the two Pokémon became stuck together.

"Okay, Aether, take advantage of the fact that you're on top- squish him downwards into the ground as much as possible! If you get free, then hit him with Tackle!"
