Phanpy- Tough one since it learns Ice Shard as an egg move, but since it doesn't learn any other high level beam attacks, I'm going to have to say no, sorry.

And what a coincidence; I was thinking of suggesting a race similar to the one Ash rode Ponyta in, where you could use moves to slow down your opponents.


Also, do we have to use the PASBL descriptions? I mean, really, so many things are different 'cause they don't have items. Note they don't even have Natural Gift or Judgment. And so many of the moves haven't been updated since before the Physical/Special split (Read; Spark, Wring Out, etc). Never mind the stupid stuff like Dragonbreath burning, Silver Wind and Ominous Wind having no secondary effect, and Wring Out+Crush Grip having the exact opposite effect as in the game.

And don't even get me started on my vendetta against Seed Flare. [/ENDRANT]

Shame that my Turtwig has no attacks beside Tackle and Growl. I'm gonna be screwed even against Handy's Geodude.

Your Pikachu will have all moves up to and including ones learned at level 5 in HGSS (So, to be exact, Thundershock, Growl, and Tail Whip). And Pokémon can have as many attacks as you want; For example, if your Pikachu got to Level 50, it would be able to use...

Tail Whip
Thunder Wave
Quick Attack
Double Team
Slam
Thunderbolt
Feint
Agility
Discharge
Light Screen
Thunder

Ya, any of those. PLUS any attacks you may of taught to it with a TM or Tutor, etc.

For the most part, I just use my imagination when I update battles and stuff, though sometimes I do consult the ASB attack descriptions when I get stumped. Either way, I stick attacks closest to their in-game counterparts and sometimes even base them off the in-game animations.
