[Oct. 2010] Pokémon Revolution Halloween Party!

Nikky sauntered up to the Union room. She felt pretty confident with her Halloween costume, though dresses were far from her thing. She was a dead bride. And pretty sexy one, if she did say so herself.

She had windblown her dirty blonde hair and threw in leaves. Her veil covered her face and was a dark gray with many holes and shredded ends. She had painted her face a ghostly white; black makeup shaowed her eyes for sunken, dead effect and raised her cheekbones for a boney look. She had a tattered, dirtied, old wedding dress. A ripped right sleeve barely kept on her shoulder and the hemming was falling off and holes resided in all places on her dress. She added a bunch of dirt and dead leaves to her dress for added effects. Her shoes were once stilettos, but the heel was broken off of one while the other was completely missing. In her hand, she held a bouquet of dead, wilted flowers.

A colorful little Farfetch'd resided at her heels. His name was Jax, and he had a mischievous smile on his beak (for a Farfetch'd cant have lips). He was obviously in for some Halloween fun.

He wore a jester costume, which perfectly matched his Impish nature. A cute red and yellow hat laid lopsided on his head, it's three spikes had bells handing from the ends, ringing with every shake and shiver he made. He wore a fun, matching red and yellow gown, that also had bells strewn around at the bottom hems. His webbed feet were donned with (surprise, surprise) red and yellow pointed shoes. Bells were also at the toe tips of these. He grasped in his wing (for Farfetch'd dont have hands) his leek, which was painted with temporary paint red with a little yellow ball at the top.

The two sauntered in (for they both were very confident) and announced to the room, "Ladies and gentlemen! Allow myself to introduce...myself!"

Will strided confidently into the Halloween Party, his bright red flat-bottomed sneakers leading the way. He adjusted his similarly red but blue-capped hat to a better position as he quickly made his way to the snack table, beginning to gnaw on some pretzels. Afterwards he brushed the salty-delicious crumbs off of his navy shirt which he had striped all across with bright yellow tape and helped himself to a cup of soda. A drop fell on the jean shorts he was wearing that he had cut out of a real pair of jeans, though Will didn't really give a crap to that minor change. Turning around he felt the wooden baseball bat poking out of the tan backpack strapped to his, well, back, lightly thumping the back of his head. Will was fully aware that the rest of the guests hadn't arrived yet, so he amused himself by playing with the yo-yo that was part of his costume. Twirling it around as such he couldn't really get the hang of it as much as the person he was dressing up as, Ness. Although Lucas was inarguably a better fighter, Ness was a much better character and wasn't such a "wa-wa poor me my mom died" kinda kid. Plus, Ness had black hair and Lucas had blonde. Will wasn't about to dye his hair in the name of a decent cosplay, so he kept with Ness.

Walking beside him the entire time was his Machop, Kickass. Kickass had kept up in the Earthbound cosplaying style, choosing to represent his favorite character, Poo. Machop was a surprisingly good representation of Poo. A tiny wig of hair barely covered the yellow ridges on his head, and out of that wig sprung a small pony-tail. His white kung-fu dojo robes tucked into his small black slippers (which were completely masculine, surprisingly). A black belt tied around the waist of his costume, completing the kung-fu master look.

Both of them had red and blue glitter tucked away in their pockets to represent PK Fire and PK Freeze when tossed, seeing as both of the characters they were cosplaying as could use PSI power in the game. Will cast a glance around the room, seeing many impressive costumes but not recognizing where most of them were from. He shrugged, and continued to attempt at using his yo-yo as a weapon. Meanwhile, Kickass snooped about and tried to eavesdrop on any ongoing conversations.

Kickass quickly found himself being rapidly approached by a costume'd Nidoran. He tried to make himself scarce, but the Nidoran refused to yield. At a more detailed glance, the Nidoran seemed to be painted like a penguin, although penguins didn't have bat wings. Kickass reluctantly struck up a conversation, since he really didn't have much else to do. "<So, what are you dressed up as?>" Kickass flexed his muscles. "<I'm going as Poo, from Earthbound. Ever played that...? Oh right, no apposables. Sorry.>" Kickass grinned sheepishly.

Meanwhile, Will was trying to get the hang of his yo-yo still, and he did. Unfortunately. Because the moment he figured out how to swing the yo-yo around efficiently was the moment to clanged quite loudly into the back of some guy's thick armor helmet. Will turned white as the sound echoed across the room and the figure turned around to stare him down. Will muttered a few friendly, though shakey, words under his breath. "Er, I, uh, hi. I'm Will."

Nikky was smiling at the attention she briefly captured. The costumes everyone had on looked pretty cool. She then noticed some weird looking kid was walking up to her. Wait...she shouldnt say weird looking for he was wearing a costume.

After his introduction (his name was Natsu. She needed to remember that) she beamed at him, "Hey, I'm Nikky! I came from Lilycove. It's in Hoenn, you know? ...So what are you supposed to be?" She asked sheepishly, laughing at her lack of knowledge a bit. She then wondered if she should've made her teeth look rotten to fit the part.

Jax, instead, had wandered over to where the other Pokémon were. He jumped right into the circle they had formed, "<Hey there, gentlemen! I am Jax! You may applaud now.>" He then paused for a second before laughing, "<Just kidding, dudes. I'm Jax. Arent I the joker? Get it? Joker?>" He laughed again. "<It's alright guys, I know I'm far from funny.>"

Spencer pounces into the room, snarling under his breath, before looking around the room. Everybody was already occupied it seemed, and chances are nobody saw his entrance. He sighed and stood up straight. He's wearing an older, slightly worn dark-gray hoody. It's torn in a few places, and patched up with large pieces of duct tape wrapped around his arm just above his elbows and wrists. There's a large splotch of fake blood around his chest, as well as around his mouth and at his eyes, though this last bit is a bit hard to see as the hood is pulled over his eyes. He's wearing dark brown sweats that are similarly worn and covered in duct tape. There's a fairly large gash in his sweats down his right shin, with the sweats around the gash stained red with blood. His black sneakers are scuffed, ragged, and caked with dirt. He is... the hunter. He turns around and looks behind him, only to see his pal following closely behind, though a bit more calmly than his trainer.

"Hey there, Napoleon!" Napoleon sprints the rest of the distance to catch up his trainer and stands by his side. Napoleon has a black cape tied around his neck and flowing over his back, though his spines make it a bit hard for it to fit perfectly. He's also got very cheesy vampire fangs, colored red at the tips. To try and make the reference a bit more evident, Napoleon's normally quite sharp horn is covered in fluffy cotton balls, making it a cotton-ball shish kebab of sorts. He is... the bunnicula!

Sal entered the room, not entirely sure whether his outfit completely fitted the occasion. He then saw a couple of the more colourful costumes, and instantly felt a little better with his choice. His outfit was possible the blandest of the lot so far, being almost all greyscale. He loosened his grey headband a little, wiping the sweat from his head before retightening it, and scratched under his chin. The stubble he had grown was rather uncomfortable to him, but he decided to go all out with his outfit, so he felt it necessary. His grey shirt and similarly coloured leather jacket felt a little tighter than the baggier T-shirts he was used to, but still felt fairly comfortable. On his legs, he wore a pair of grey leather trousers, with a strap on one leg to attach a small storage compartment. His boots were of a similar colour, blending in well and rather uninteresting to be honest. He had used the belt for his trousers to complete the design, attaching a few additional storage compartments there. There was nothing in them, excluding a Pokéball for his companion, but they were once again for the cosplay. Yes, he had designed his outfit after Solid Snake. The games were old, but the character was still famous, so he figured it’d be a good idea.

Mere moments later, his companion arrived. Once again, he was accompanied by his Chimchar, Goku. The Chimchar was wearing a small light-brown coat, created by Sal’s mother specifically for events like this one, which was left open halfway down to reveal his yellowish chest. He was also wearing a pair of darker brown jeans, and a blond wig on his head to hide the natural hairstyle a Chimchar has, as it really didn’t fit. The outfit had worked better than Sal thought it would, but he felt a little like he had gone to too much trouble just for this event. Still, Goku’s transformation to Liquid Snake, to compliment Sal’s outfit, was stunningly easy.

He looked around the room to find someone interesting to talk to, and walked over to the table to get some food. He hadn’t eaten for a while, and felt like he’d need it to distract himself from the embarrassment of his first time wearing a costume like this. He decided, upon seeing all of the people already chatting, to pick the first male character he saw. He felt much more comfortable talking to guys, and it’d help him to get happier with his own look. He saw a guest that appeared to be fairly new here too, and walked up to him, his Chimchar following behind.. With the fake blood and duct tape, the boy was probably the second weirdest… no, more inhuman looking person here. The first being the one dressing as Pyramid Head. Still, he talked to this guy, the second most inhuman character, to try and calm his nerves. ’Nice choice there, I think’ he thought sarcastically.

“Hey, I’m Sal. Pretty interesting party, with all the variety of costumes here. What’s your name?” he asked, still not great socially. He was hoping he’d get into it quickly. Goku spoke up, clearly annoyed to be ignored. <Introduce me, damn it!> he said, not that his trainer would understand, and walked over to the Nidoran the trainer was with to introduce himself. <Hey there! The name’s Goku> he continued. “Oh yeah, and this Chimchar with me is Goku,” Sal said to the trainer. ’Damn, I even forgot my partner was with me. Calm down Sal!’ he thought.

Spencer jumps a bit as Sal approaches him, and nervously laughs it off before stretching out his hand for a handshake. "Hi, Sal. My name's Spencer, and this," he said, motioning to his Nidoran, "is my friend, Napoleon." He takes a few seconds to examine Sal's costume before he speaks again. "Solid Snake, right? Can't say I've ever played the games, but I wouldn't be able to call myself a gamer if I didn't know him!"

<Hey there, the name's Napoleon. Nice to meet you, Goku,> Napoleon says, nodding at the Chimchar. <How are you?>

Right after Nikky had responded to Natsu, a little Pikachu had arrived next to her. Making crazy motions and signs. Though Nikky couldn't care less about that. What she did care about was that it was a Pikachu.

"Oh my God Mew! It's a fracking Pikachu!" She squealed way too loudly, picking up the green colored rodent. "You are so cute! You have no idea! I love Pikachu's so much and you're just so cute! You're dressed as Yoda, arent you?"

The interestingly dressed fellow jumped as Sal spoke. Sal was a little pleased to see he wasn't the most nervous person here, feeling more natural already. The guy then answered his question. "Hi, Sal. My name's Spencer, and this," he said, motioning to his Nidoran, "is my friend, Napoleon." Spencer took a while to examine Sal's outfit before guessing at the attempted cosplay. "Solid Snake, right? Can't say I've ever played the games, but I wouldn't be able to call myself a gamer if I didn't know him!"

"Yeah, that's it." Sal answered, pleased that he had at least a slight resemblance to the legendary game character. "Not the most fitting for Halloween, but it's the design I had ready at the time. It's kinda difficult to fashion one costume as it is, but getting a Pokémon to look like a related character is hard. Anyway, what's your outfit? I can't say I know the character," he said, surprised at his own lack of knowledge of horror films.

"My character? Oh, I'm dressed up as the hunter from Left 4 Dead one and two. I figured it'd be easiest to do out of all of them, unless I find some way to mutate myself or switch genders! Plus, the hunter is pretty interesting. He's based on parkour, so he'll like, climb up buildings and pounce on the survivors from yards up in the air and it's pretty cool! I mean-" Spencer stops himself there, laughing nervously again. "Oh, sorry, didn't mean to go off on a rant there, haha... but yeah, hunter."

Nikky giggled as the Pikachu kept talking at three miles a second. As far as she could tell, the Pikachu didnt mind being held, her trainer was the kid in a matching Star Wars costume (Nikky had to guess he was some sort of Sith, but she couldnt tell for she didnt watch Star wars much), and that the Pikachu was perfectly happy being held as she situated herself nicely in her arms.

Nikky hugged the Pikachu affectionately then turned back to Natsu, "I'm sorry..." she apologized sheepishly, "I love Pikachu. They're my second favorite Pokémon. ...What were you saying?"

Will was quite relieved as the guy lifted his helmet to reveal his much nicer face. "Hi. Yeah, incidentally, I never played Earthbound either. Only the sequel. So, what's your costume from?" Will tucked the yo-yo away into his backpack. Will took a quick glance around the room to check up on Kickass. He seemed to be socializing well with the other trainer's Pokémon. Will decided to leave him alone for now. Someone in a dark hood approached them, and as Will turned he flinched before laughing. "Wow, great Darth Sidious costume. Gotta say, I'm a die-hard Star Wars fan. Nice to meet you, Kaito. I'm Will."

Kickass, meanwhile, was idly talking with the other Pokémon. They had been joined by the guy in the pyramid helmet's Pokémon, a menacing looking Bidoof. Kickass was impressed with the zombie look. "<Nice costume there buddy. I'm Low Kickass, but you can just call me Kickass. The blood teeth is a nice touch. What's your name?>" A jester Farfetch'd also joined the circle, introducing himself as Jax. Kickass stifled a laugh, as his jokes were so awkward they were actually kinda funny. "<Hi. I'm Kickass. I'm going as Poo from Earthbound.>"

Seeing as Natsu wasnt really responding (maybe he idnt hear her?), Nikky decided to go compliment the trainer who owned the adorable Pikachu of cuteness for having such an adorable Pikachu of cuteness. She gave a wave and said she was gonna talk to the other group to Natsu, then spun on her heel and walked over to them.

She stood there for a second then tapped the boy, who the Pikachu had motioned to before, on the shoulder. She smiled at him, "Hey, I'm Nikky. Is this your Pikachu? Cause I gotta say, she's absolutely adorable!"

During this Jax had been acknowledged by the Machop, who was called Kickass. He was going as some character from some game that Jax had never heard of. But who can blame him when his own trainer really didnt know far from Mario and Pokémon games, herself? So Jax came up with the best answer he could think of to this, "<Who?>"

Nikky giggled a bit embarrassed at the compliment from Kaito. She's hardly ever been called cute before. It was a surprise. A nice surprise though. She was glad she wore makeup and didnt have her face showing that it was blushing from such a silly little compliment.

She pet the Pikachu on the head, "Nah, she's not bothering me at all. She's really quite cuddly, actually! I would keep an eye on me if I were you, I might just walk out of here on accident with her!" She then laughed a bit, hoping her joke didnt fall flat.

She then noticed his fake lightsaber. It looked was more expensive then the plastic ones you normally see at the store. He mind briefly then flashed to when her and her brother would play with the plastic ones and broke them from getting too intense. Nikky returned to Earth and pointed to the lightsaber, "But then again, you could always just use that to stop me... Not that I'd mind. It's pretty cool."

"Haha, I never thought I'd hear a girl say a lightsaber was 'pretty cool.'" Kaito joked, "Yeah, this thing certainly wasn't cheap. I'm a pretty die-hard Star Wars fan though so it was all worth it to me. You wanna try it out?" Kaito mused, spinning the hilt backwards and handing it towards Nikky.

Nikky laughed as well as she put down Nezumi, telling her, "Sorry, dude. I'll pick you back up in just a second..."

She then stood back up and took hold of the lightsaber, "Well you know, I'm not like most girls. I'd much rather not be wearing this dress, to be honest." She activated it and swung it around a bit, "Dude this is awesome. Seriously, I could maul someone with this."

Her imagination then jumped to her going on an adventure and saving people with the lightsaber. She imagined jumping from buildings and swinging from trees and fighting bad guys. And maybe saving a cute boy on the occasion. She shook her head from the trance, girls shouldnt be imagining that stuff. But then again, it was her brain. She could think whatever she wanted.

Nikky chuckled to herself as reality came back and swung the lightsaber around a bit more. She made action poses and spun around, and stopped. She was in a battle stance, having the end of it just barely touching Kaito's face. Not disengaging it, she beamed at him. "Dude, you are my hero for letting me use this."

Hunter strolled into the room, kind of nervous. His fake moustache was kind of itchy, and the dungarees were a little stiff. Although he'd not really played the games or watched the movies some of these people's characters were from, he recognised a few - Ness, for example. He just didn't feel comfortable with specialized blue-eye-look contacts instead of glasses, and with a red cap instead of his usual gear. His red shirt was comfy, though, and the gloves fitted like... well, gloves. He was okay about the big brown shoes, he guessed. And the large fake nose was kind of uncomfortable. "How does he cope? I've never felt so much sympathy for plumbers before."

"Diglett-dig!" Came a slightly muffled reply from his backpack. He opened it up and pulled out a rather large flowerpot covered with cellophane. "I really need to get my hands on some more PokéBalls." he said as he unwrapped it. A little Diglett popped out, with a large, plain-looking brown beanie hat on it's little head. Said hat was stuffed into a huge mushroom-top shape. There were some angry white eyes and a frowning mouth painted onto it.
The Diglett itself was covered in a cream face paint, as was the flowerpot, which had two round, brown balls of putty taped to it's sides - one ball on each side.

"Here, let me put you down with some friends." He plonked the flowerpot down next to a Machop in a dai, a jester-like Farfetch'd and a zombie-like Bidoof. "<Erm... Hi. I'm Burrower. I'm dressed as a Goomba. My owner kind of doesn't own me properly yet, but why should that get in the way of a spot of fun, right?>

Meanwhile, Hunter walked over to the buffet, grabbing a handful of treats which he pocketed, except for one which he ate. "Man, that's good - Whoa."
He looked over at two people talking - one appeared to be holding a Lightsaber. An actual Lightsaber. He walked up to them. "Cool lightsaber, man. Name's Hunter. And you guys are?"
