Name: Dave Parker

Personality: David is shorter than average for his age, but quite solidly built. He has scruffy black hair and dark brown eyes. He tends to come across as quite a disorganised person because of how scruffy he looks. He tends to wear some loose fitting, dark blue trousers that don’t restrict his movement, a grey t-shirt and a black leather jacket. He thinks he looks cool, but anyone his height wearing a leather jacket looks like a bit of a muppet, especially with his very babyish face.

Appearance: “The smallest Weedle can defeat the greatest Dragonite, if given the proper strategy.” Words spoken to Dave by his uncle, a Pokémon collector, that Dave has taken to heart. Of course, this can probably be attributed to the fact that his uncles “collection” consists mostly of Weedles from around the world, but Dave has taken it onboard and is a firm believer in brains over brawn.

Dave works best under pressure, whether in Pokémon battles or in day to day life. He can be incredibly stubborn, and will tend to make snap judgements of people based on first impressions. He rarely changes these judgements, and it can lead him to underestimate people. His sense of humour is quite dry, and he’s almost always ready with a semi-sarcastic comment. Most of the time, he works quite hard, but only if he sees the reason behind things.

Background: Dave was born and raised in Ecruteak, where he's lived all his life. He was proud of his local gym, and the leader, Morty, and always wanted to be a trainer. His sister took the gym challenge when he was 12 right there in Johto. He really wanted to go with her, but his parents wouldn't let him.

Now they think he's old enough, he intends to go without further delay. He's decided against Johto, because he doesn't want to seem like he's copying his sister (he'd never admit he idolises her. Ever) and besides, he's seen Olivine and Blackthorn and Goldenrod and whatever before. Where'd be the fun in that?

Name: Luke Christiansson (LC for short)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Hometown: Kin (Three) Island, Kanto

Personality: Luke is fairly quiet as teenagers go, a result of growing up on an Island with a small if close-knit community. He forms particularly close bonds with friends and Pokémon, particularly his father's Growlithe who he grew up with as a close friend and companion, and looks forwards to one day having a Pokémon of his own. Also put down to his relaxed upbringing is a tendency to think through his options for a long time before making any decisions, and to seek knowledge in almost voracious manner, always keen to learn more and inform decisions before they are made.

Appearance: Luke is of average height and build, with blonde hair and glasses, which he doesn't really need for anything but reading, but he likes to think they make him look intelligent. He can typically be found wearing a loose-fitting t-shirt and three quarter length trousers, although he'll wear most baggy clothes, usually in fairly neutral colours.

Background: Growing up on Kin Island, Luke was close to his family and to his friends at all times, and rarely visited the mainland. He grew up with a small band of friends, all of whom were a few years older than him and therefore, in his eyes at least, much cooler. As he grew up he became a little more independent, and a school trip to the Seafoam Islands left him with a desire to travel the world, which became a desire to travel with Pokémon when his childhood friends Jon and Liz left to take the Gym challenge last year.

Misc. Information: Has a fairly good knowlege of herbs and plants from spending a good amount of his formative years in and around Berry Forest, as well as being a keen swimmer and oarsman, as many on the Islands are for reasonably obvious reasons.

Name: Nikky Williams
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Hometown: Lilycove, Hoenn

Personality: Nikky has always been known for her loud, opinionated personality. She's extremely blunt and honest, which makes her seem rude to some people, though she never sees why because she is all jokes, laughs, and being laid-back. She is hardly ever serious except when she gets passionate about a view or cause. She's a bit eccentric and get extremely competitive over things that dont matter. Nikky is emotionally distant with people, but is sincerely affectionate and caring for all Pokémon.

Appearance: At a height of 5 feet 4 inches, Nikky has long, straight dirty blonde hair that's almost always kept down and blue-green eyes. She wears a hat of some sort almost always. They usually correspond with the weather and region she's in. She always has a tshirt on with some sort of print or design and depending on the climate, she'll wear an unzippered red hoodie. She loves plaid shorts to wear in warmer climates and regular jeans for colder. She also wears a necklace that has a small seashell with the word 'Dream' written on it.

Background: Always living in Lilycove, Nikky has had a life of beach parties, lots of friends, adventures, and relaxtion. Her parents made sure to have her like the outdoors and to like Pokémon and treat them with respect. She's always wanted to leave her paradise though, and prove who she was to the world and to the people who bullied her when she was younger. She's always hesitated to take her step into the Pokémon journey's, therefore, she's one of the last of her peers to finally go on a journey.

She loves music and play's guitar for fun and wants to learn piano one day. She is in love with Delibird's and has a dislike of Dunsparce. She also runs every morning to stay in shape and dislikes fastfood.

Age: 15

Hometown: Pallet Town

Personality: Spencer tends to stick to himself, and be a bit quiet, whenever he isn't with friends. He's got his opinions, and he's pretty stubborn with them, but he doesn't always say them unless he thinks he needs to. When he's with friends, though, he tends to get a bit louder and be a bit more at ease, sometimes being a bit too loose with his words. Still, if he ever does anything wrong he's quick to apologize. He generally tries to be a polite, well-behaved person, as he wants people to be to him. He can be fairly lazy at times; if something isn't vital or fun, he's very likely to procrastinate it (thus, silly things like cutting his hair tend to wait a long time before being done).

Appearance: Spencer is, and always has been, a short kid. He stands just barely over 5 feet 2 inches. He has short brown hair, usually laying messily on his head since he never does more with it than wash and comb it. His bangs are just long enough to start blocking his hazel eyes. He wears simple shirts, usually just plain colored tees, and blue jeans. He's got a necklace around his neck, ending in a small cage containing a twenty-sided die. He's got a bit of a stomach, but it's small enough that his shirts usually hide it.

Background: There's not much to say about Spencer's early life in Pallet Town: he grew up with a few friends, went to school, and waited until he thought he was ready to start his Pokémon adventure. He always had a bit of an urge to leave his home, even if his life there is perfectly fine, so the day he finally gets to leave on his adventure is a happy day for him.

Misc. Information: Spencer is a nerd, pure and simple. He carries around the latest handheld gaming device in case he needs a quick distraction while on a train or before falling asleep, and plays roleplaying games.

Hometown: snowpoint city

Personality: Riolu is shy and retiering and makes friends that hes not suposed to just for the sake of it but after you get to know him he can be a sunny positive person but is a little bit on the chubby side. He is also laid back and not that exited about muchbut if you touch his stuffed riolu he will get angry and shout at the person who touched it

Appearance: Wears a black t'shirt with white flames on it blue cargo pants and a aquamarine blue cap always seen with a stuffed riolu in his hand and a salamance backpack

Background: In the early life of Riolu he had only one freind a snorunt but after a while he and his family had to move and he never saw snorunt now every time he sees a ice type he starts crying and a couple of years after moving his parents died after that happend no one at adoption home would speak to him

Personality:
Martz has a likable personality to everyone and smiles at everything. He likes to have fun doing what ever does. Yet he still takes everything very seriously on the inside and gets done what he needs to get done first and foremost. He likes to prove cocky people wrong and will go out of his way to do so...even if he is wrong. Martz also stands up for himself and his friends and does not take any crap from anyone.


Appearance:
Martz is stocky. Most of the time, letting his beard grow out but other times shaving it into a gotee. Sometimes he lets his hair grow long, and other times shaves it short. Depends on his mood honestly. He likes to wear baggy cloths to make him look less big than he actually is, most of the time sporting a T-Short or hoodie with jeans.

Background:
Martz grew up on Cinnabar Island and went to the only High School on the island. There he was 2nd on their Pokémon battling squad using only his parents Munchlax and Cyndaquil, which he won in a tournament. He lost in the finals most of the time to his rival and ex-gf Katherine.

His parents fought all the time growing up with his mother also contracting cancer when he was in 9th grade. She survived but took it's toll on the family. This is what motivated Martz to become a better battler and as a stress reliever to get out of the house.

Name: Dezmond Konstantinovic
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Hometown: Jubilife City

Personality: Dezmond is a very likable, but moody person. He has a handful of friends that all say he's a very good person, but can have sudden outbursts of rage time to time. Dezmond also has a passion for fire, lighting a small, controlled fire everyday. Dezmond is also the type to speak his mind, even if it may get him in trouble.

Appearance: Standing at 5'10, Dezmond has an average build with shaggy hair down to his neck. He also sports short sideburns (which can't be seen due to his hair) and 5' 0 Clock shadow. He often wears a Black long-sleeved shirt, (He often will roll up the sleeves if it's too hot) Black pants, and a pair of Converse shoes.


Background: Dezmond has had a bit of a choppy life. during the day, he attends school, achieves good marks, participates in groups, has a few Pokémon battles and so on. After school, however, it's different. His parents are usually drunk and fighting until the break of dawn when Dezmond get's to leave the hellhole he calls home. He usually has to feed and take care of himself because if he didn't, no one would. Dezmond also taught himself to start small fires to pass time, which gave him his love for fire type Pokémon. He hopes soon he can leave his god-forbidden house, and become a Pokémon trainer.

Misc. Information: Dezmond came from a family of Russians, so he can speak fluent Russian and tends to insult people (or even himself) in the language. He also carries a very thick Russian accent.

Name: Carlisle Mure
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Hometown: Blackthorn City/Mahogany Town

Personality: Carlisle is a calm guy, who likes to think things over before he considers taking any actions. He played by himself for most of his childhood, and has become a little inconsiderate to others when sharing a conversation (he easily slips into lalaland). Even though he can be observant of details in pictures or puzzles, he can be oblivious of another person's feelings because of his isolation as a child. He loves to doodle different things on his hands or notepads, which can result in inked up hands and crammed notepads.

Appearance: Carlisle's is 5'4", and has a slightly stocky build. He's been slimming out more and more as he ages, revealing more muscle gradually. Underneath his clothing is a violet wife-beater and black briefs, which he cleans whenever he gets the opportunity to. He wears a lemon chiffon colored t-shirt with turquoise sleeves, under an orchid hoodie with darkened ovals and circles placed randomly around. He wears a tattered pair of black jeans and athletic shoes most of the time, but he will swap them for black board shorts and a pair of flip flops when the weather is suitable.

His light brown hair is sloppily cut above his neck, below his ears, and at his eyebrows. It's usually matted down by a pair of aviator's goggles that his sister gave him, and he will often fiddle with them when nervous. Around his neck is a silver band that holds a white gold ring and amethyst, a present from his mother and father that they gave him as a sign that they trusted he could make the right decisions for himself. He likes to add things to the necklace as mementos of happy times (so far he has added a fang from Blackthorn City).

Background: Carlisle was born to an average family of four (including himself). He was born in their old home, where his mother Cassiopeia gave birth with the help of his ten year old sister Chrysanthemum and father Cassius. The family soon moved out to Mahogany Town because of the cost of living, and planned on planting their roots there. Six years later, on one of many trips to visit old relatives, Chrys was taken to the shrine behind the gym, and to Carlisle's knowledge, was given a test. She succeeded, and left the shrine with a Dratini as a gift. She as given permission by her father to chase her dream of being a Pokémon master, and journeyed to New Bark Town after her good byes.

During the next few years, Carlisle would often practice the piccolo, draw, and read in the Mure house as he wondered about his sister. He was envious of her, but understood that his parents felt he wasn't ready yet. After eight years had passed, Chrys was back in Mahogany Town, and immediately paid her family a visit. She looked like a strong. And independent woman, and eagerly told her stories of battles and good memories with Aether (her Dragonite). She had told how she thoroughly enjoyed the exploration of caves and forests, and how her adrenaline would pump when she fought the formidable gym leaders. She showed off her six badges, and said that now it was time to get her seventh.

Carlisle accompanied her to the gym, and watched intently as the match unfolded. She had quite a bit of trouble, but was able to defeat Pryce in the end. As the siblings returned home,  all of the family's relatives from Blackthorn were here to throw Chrys a congrats party, and Carlisle a going away party. They gave him a few gifts as a sign of maturity, and they asked Chrys if he could join her on her way to Kanto. The two left the next day, and Chrys gave Carlisle a pair of goggles as they hopped onto Aether's back. 

Chrys had successfully beat the Elite Four, and said that she wouldn't be going to Kanto with Carlisle. She told him how she heard of a place named Hoenn, and that a friend she made during her journey made her promise to meet up there. She wished Carlisle good luck on his own adventures, and said he could keep the goggles. He asked her how he would get a Pokémon, and where he should go, but was simply told to find Prof. Oak.

Name: Lucca Kalani
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Hometown: Shamouti Island of the Orange Archipelago

Personality: Just as the waves of the ocean wash away the harsh edges of the rockiest island shorelines, so have they smoothed over what would be the sharpest points of Lucca’s persona. He is as laidback as the environment from which he hails: that of pristine beaches, perfectly wild jungles, clear blue water as far as the eyes can see, and as much of the soothing solar rays one could handle. If he could have his way, he’d spend all day on the beach with his friends and family (despite being the most populated island of the Orange Archipelago, the community is still very close-knit) surfing, relaxing, and keeping in tune with nature.

Despite his relaxed personality, he does have his temperamental moments. When in the midst of a problem or obstacle he must overcome, his emotions have a tendency to overwhelm him and amplify his frustration. This applies only to himself, though. As an aspiring Pokémon trainer, he lives by a strict dogma concerning the treatment of these creatures. Shamouti Island is the cultural hub of the region, acutely intertwined with the local mythology of Lugia and the three elemental avians. Though he isn’t one to dress up in the traditional costume and actively participate in ceremonies (which he views as something done more for the tourists), Lucca carries a deep respect for Pokémon. Whenever he engages in practice battles, he never pushes a Pokémon beyond its limits and would sooner risk his own safety over that of the creature. He also views the traditional capture approach (throwing a PokéBall at the unconscious creature) as somewhat cruel. A bit of an activist in this regard, he hopes that through traveling and battling continents over he can convince other trainers to make more personal, respectful, consensual bonds with their Pokémon and curb their abuse.

Appearance: As would you probably expect from somebody from his topography, Lucca’s skin is naturally tanned. His hair is scraggly, dark brown yet close to black in color that falls just over the top of his ears; he doesn’t really manage it beyond running his hands through several times a day. His eyes are a surprisingly light, frigid blue– his mother, a woman steeped in island tradition, says he was blessed by Articuno at birth. Regardless, they are sure to catch most people off guard, marking a stark contrast to his otherwise dark features. His facial features are sharp, such as his distinct jawline and eyes. His nose is just slightly crooked due to a broken nose from a surfing accident when he was younger. He’s slender from the amount of time he spends outside, not particularly muscular but considerably lean.

Lucca doesn’t particularly care what he wears so long as it’s functional. Since he’s accustomed to a tropical climate, he usually wears his bathing suit instead of shorts (this way it only takes him a split second to jump into water) and a tank top or simple t-shirt. He prefers to go barefoot most of the time, but when traveling on unfamiliar terrain as he will be soon, he brought his father’s old sandals. He also wears a necklace around his neck, a simple faded blue pendant on string of twine. His older sister Lucia made it for him before she died during the birth that resulted in his nephew, Keanu.

Background: Lucca has lived his entire life on Shamouti Island, hardly ever leaving its shores beyond the occasional trip to the other islands to visit extended family. His dad was born to be a seaman and his lived his entire life in the water, whether through captaining a ship, constructing harbors for the more remote islands, or surfing just as his son does now. His mother is an important cultural figure in the town and perpetuates the tourism of the island, trying to expose the foreigners to the traditions and customs. Lucca has acquired his desire to teach others from her, admiring the ways in which she is determined the pass on the message of respect and conjugal existence with nature. His childhood wasn’t particularly trying; though his parents didn’t make much money, neither did most of the others on the island. Instead of currency, most people barter services. For instance, the harbors his father built for the other islands often resulted in crates of fruit sent to Shamouti in return.

Like most other Orange Islanders, Lucca has a relatively large family compared to the industrialized continents of Kanto, Orre, and Isshu. He has three uncles, four aunts (one of them serving as Valencia Island’s gym leader, Luana), and a multitude of cousins spread throughout the archipelago. He has two older sisters, including the deceased Lucia, and four brothers, all of whom are younger than he is. Despite her death, Lucca has built a strong relationship with her son, Keanu. At seven years old, he considers Lucca an older brother, and Lucca strives to set a good example for the little boy while at the same time appealing to his childish instincts.

At 18 years old, Lucca had begun to accept the fact that he would likely live most of his life in the archipelago and never achieve his dream of becoming a full-fledged Pokémon trainer. On his 19th birthday celebration, surrounded by his family and friends, his father emerged from the crowd at the end of the ceremonies and presented him with a wooden box. Opening it, Lucca found that his father had somehow come up with enough money to send him abroad to Hoenn to live out his dream. His father said, “I know what you want. I wanted the same thing. My gift to you is that you can be what I always wanted to be.” Staring at the currency and feeling tears well up in his eyes, he knew he couldn’t reject the heartfelt gift his father had managed to give to him. Looking around, he decided that he’d do whatever it took to make his family proud and make the sacrifice worth it. When he boarded the ship three months later, he embraced his family for the last time. Though he was incredibly sad to leave and equally as anxious about what lies ahead, he could only smile as he departed. He hugged his nephew Keanu last, promising to write letters as often as he could before turning around and embarking on his journey.

Name: Daisy Inari
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Hometown: Azalea Town, Johto

Personality:
Unlike the Slowpoke that make their home in the well near Azalea, Daisy is always full of energy and bubbliness. She get can get pretty crazy sometimes, even without sugar or caffeine, but thats what makes her interesting to the people she meets. She always acts nice around other people and rarely gets mad. Daisy loves corny jokes, and she's a carnivore when it comes to eating. She loves to draw and read, but mostly about fantasy stuff. It may look like she doesn't have a care in the world, but sometimes she can get pretty sensitive; Daisy forgives, but never forgets. She loves pokemon, but bird types are her faves.
Appearance:
Golden brown skinned from being outside too much. Saffron colored eyes glow brightly against her mid-waist length black hair, which has a brown sheen in the sun. Average height, around 5'2", but she wishes she was taller. Slim, but surprisingly stronger than she looks, probably because her active personality has toughened her muscles.
Daisy's favorite color is yellow, so her trademark outfit is dark jeans with a rainbow (second favorite color) scarf-belt paired with a yellow tank top. Her Hair is often braided, tied together with a purple ribbon. She gets cold easily though, so she always has a jacket somewhere in her bag.
Background:
Born in the simple town of Azalea, Daisy grew up comfortable around pokemon because she often played with the slowpoke near the well. However, she was not as happy due to the Slowpokes, being, well, slow. That was how she became intrigued by bird pokemon-- they were constantly moving creatures, just like she was. Over time, she developed a certain kind of affinity for them, and now she can understand and relate to them extremely well.
Her mom is a famous coordinator, and she is actually the one who works. Her dad stays at home and watches over her and her 2 older brothers, Raphael and Jay, while her mom travels all over the world. Both of her parents equally love their children, but sometimes they would spoil Daisy a little because she was the youngest and the only girl. Even so, they were a happy family and supportive of Daisy's actions to begin her life as a pokemon trainer.

Misc. Information:
~As Daisy gets her own pokemon team, she's gonna try to make them all female (unless they're only male) because she grew up around so many guys that she's trying for a change of scenery.
~She also has a personal mission: to see and/or capture every single bird pokemon there is-- even the rare ones like Ho-oh and Articuno.
~Because she's such a carnivore, Daisy also tends to stay away from veggies-- particularly okra and mushrooms.
~She's a good dancer, but she becomes terribly shy is someone tries to make her sing.

Name: Kyoko
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Hometown: Route 212, Pokémon Mansion

Personality:
Misunderstood and quiet but caring girl who is often mistaken for being stuck up and anti-social. She really is a sweet and loving person, but since she does prefer to only have one or two close friends, she does appear quite unfriendly.

Appearance:
Short chocolate brown hair that is worn with lacy red plaid headband. Her outfit, which is, if not too easy to guess, total gothic lolita, is also red plaid, with plenty of black lace. Her lacy dress only reaches her knees, though, and the rest of her legs, at least, up to right below her knees, she wears black boots. Her eyes are also a chocolate brown, but with a slight amber highlight. She doesn’t wear any make-up, and most likely never will.

Background:

I groggily opened my eyes in the dimly lit room. I had it figured out. Today would be the day I’d escape. I stood up, my legs still wobbly from the drugged sleep. I waddled over to the door, testing the knob. Still locked. I gazed up at the high ceiling and the vents. They were much too high to climb up to, especially with no footholds. I took a breath, unravelling the ribbon strewn in my hair. These stupid kidnappers were going to regret they hadn’t tied me up. I looked from the ribbon to the high windows, estimating how far it would get me if I threw it up. I cocked my head, still calculating, when I heard the scuttling. Had a Bidoof found its way into this ancient palace through a hole in the wall? I cocked my ear towards the sound, but the cry was not that of a Bidoof. A Buneary was forcing its way through a hole in the wall. I sighed. This was not helping my concentration. “Hey, little Buneary? Could you go back outside? I know it’s cold out there..” But the Buneary stubbornly sat by my feet. I sighed again, then went back to figuring out my escape. The I remembered something. Buneary learned the move Bounce. I turned to the Buneary excitedly. “Buneary, use Bounce!” As if happy to be of service, the Buneary bounced up and down a few times, until it leaped high into the air. I sighed. “Buneary, I need you to take me too!” As the Buneary came back down, the idea that Bounce could work different than Fly struck me. But luckily, the Buneary was surprisingly strong, and was able to take me up with it merely by holding my hand. I scrambled onto the ledge as we paused in the air, before Buneary plummeted downwards once again. I waved my thanks as the Pokémon squeezed back into the hole, and turned to my escape myself. Pushing open the window, I suddenly realized that I had been underground, and technically, this window was more of a door, for it was only a few centimeters of the ground. I jumped out, the cold of the area around Almia Castle hitting me like a rock. I wondered to myself about how I was to get back to Sinnoh when I noticed the Buneary beside me again. I grinned. “Hello, little friend. Ready to stow away?” We walked side by side for a while, wondering how we were to get past the icy lake that blocked our path. That’s when one of the kidnappers showed up. It was Buneary who spotted him, and it was her who knocked him out with Pound. When I crouched down beside them, Buneary patted his pocket proudly. Understanding immediately, I drew out his wallet happily. I cracked it open to find more than a solid googillion PokéDollars. I took a couple scoops, hiding them in Buneary’s fur temporarily. It was just then that a Floatzel conveniently showed up, offering the two of us a ride. Happily, Buneary and I boarded, travelling rivers until I recognized the shores of Twinleaf.
