Name: Serra Shuss
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Hometown: Canalave City, Sinnoh
Personality: Spending the whole of her life fending for herself, Serra has become a hardened girl, with a strong personality and doesn't take anything less than the truth from anyone. She is the first to pick a fight, the first to jump to conclusions and the first to say almost anything when it comes to food. She is a food fanatic and is of course the best cook in the whole world! If anything, the easiest way to describe Serra is to call her a tom boy - calling her a lady can lead to unimaginable pain.

Appearance: Serra is about 5'9" and has a long face which is framed by brown shoulder-length curls. She maintains her hair at this length so that she is regarded as feminine, since if it were any shorter, she'd look like a boy and if it were any longer, it'd just be a hassle to deal with. She also does this to balance out her almost non-existent chest. She normally wears a tank top of varying colours, but prefers pink, dark jeans, and white sneakers. Her eyes are dazzling and have a mystical quality to them. She is otherwise your average girl next door and has little regard for her body, with cuts and bruises showing where she has fallen during her day to day activities.

Background: Serra was the sole survivor of an incident in her childhood. No-one in her hometown has ever told her what happened, and she's grown up and moved on since then. In order to keep herself active, she spends almost every day running. She is also an excellent rock-climber and been on many solo journeys, making it her mission to climb up every mountain in the world (she has conquered Mt. Coronet three times and feels she needs to go other places to extend her acheivements). She is revered in her hometown for the work she does to keep the young children happy and fit, with her part-time job as the local school PE teacher.

Misc. Information: Her eyes are two different colours and she has been told this is due to the incident in her childhood, and no-one has yet to refute this claim. Her right eye is blue and her left is an iridescent, eerie green. She also has a tatoo of the Trinity on her right hand.

Name:Xerxes Grimmog Axciel
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Hometown: Blackthorn City, Johto

Personality: Xerxes, is an extremely cynical boy, and has a dark sense of humor. He is extremely attentive to the outside world, noticing minute differences on a second’s notice. Very little passes by his scrutinizing eyes, as he has learned to take every detail into account. He relishes the few moments of peace that come, and takes comfort in silence. He is extremely cautious of those he does not trust, and his trust is difficult to earn. His strength lies in his intellectual abilities. With his cold, calculating personality came the ability to see clearly in difficult situations, and allows for him to concoct complex strategies to take down whatever stands in his way. Xerxes has few friends, and almost never opens up about his thoughts and emotions. He is rather quiet, compared to other people his age, and is extremely introverted. To him, all things that threaten to harm him or the ones he trusts must be eliminated, even at the cost of his own life. While not cold to outsiders, he isn't exactly the most friendly person you'll ever meet.

Appearance: The first thing most people notice about Xerxes is his white hair, which often covers one of his deep crimson eyes. A black hat often adorns his head, although it is sometimes removed for practicality. He also wears a long, black trench coat with dark silver lining and buttons. He wears a collared shirt, which is crimson in color, along with a long, clack scarf around his neck. His pants are black in color, and he wears a belt similar to his scarf to hold PokéBalls.

Background: Xerxes was born in Blackthorn City, but was abandoned in the famous Dragon's Den by his parents. He knew no family as a child, but was raised by a clan of Dratini and Dragonair as a child. He had no education, and knew only his instinct to survive. So to get what he needed, at night, he would go into the city under the cloak of shadow to steal food from the local store. One day, however, he was found by a wanderer, and with no real options for life, went along with him. It was this man who taught Xerxes as a child. Although he never revealed his name, it was not important to him, as he had saved Xerxes from certain death.

Through this man, Xerxes grew up to become a fine young man, although a bit on the cold side. After traveling to Johto along with him, they parted. Neither of them knew if they would ever meet again, but one thing was for certain. This was the start of a brand new adventure.

Name: DM Woods
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Hometown: Saffron City

Personality: DM is simply a quiet guy, doesn't like to be the main person in crowds and such, but other than being sort of a loner, there isn't really much to say about him. Meanwhile he is not a rude person,as while he likes to be alone, that does not mean that he doesn't help people when asked. He also doesn't like to see people being mistreated and hurt, but other than that he's pretty well off. Unfortunately his demeanor changes in battle, as rather from being a kind soul, he does not take prisoners, and while this may be an aftereffect from his childhood, it's clear that between his normal personality, and his battling personality, that the battling mode he gets into is simply there to release the stress from his past.

Appearance: DM is simply clad, wears cargo pants and a blue T-shirt, with a large backpack on his back, able to carry all of the supplies he may find on his journey. Meanwhile, his belt is studded with six pokeball slots, which at the moment are empty. Meanwhile, DM's hair is black, cut in a military styled buzz, and he wears glasses, which are visible, but not massively large. As his family immigrated from a far land, he's very dark skinned as well.

Background: DM, being an immigrant from a far land didn't fit in well at first. He quickly learned the language and customs of Kanto, but either way he had to deal with endless teasing, made even worse by his attempts and wishes to become a Psychic gym leader someday. Regardless, he eventually grew old enough to overcome his issues, but it seems that rather than become violent or completely silent, he dealt with the teasing and stress from his childhood in his battles. Never in the history of Saffron's upper trainer school had the teachers seen such violence in battle. Eventually, though it was disputed by all, one of DM's classmates' parents, horrified at the treatment that DM's family's Pokémon had done to their prized pet in the graduation exam, supposedly paid for all expenses to remove him from Kanto. And thus, from this "gift", he decided to check out Sinnoh, hoping that he finds something to help him with his stress... and also to begin his goal on becoming a Psychic gym leader, noting that one Elite 4 member in Sinnoh was a Psychic type user, and hoped to learn more from him, seeing as Johto was not available for him to travel to...

Name: Kanade
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Hometown: Lavaridge Town, Hoenn

Personality: One can’t really tell what is one her mind, due to her lack of showing any visible emotion. This is her weakest and strongest trait. (Strong trait in Pokémon battles, weak trait for her social life). Kanade is also one of few words, choosing to only speak when spoken to. Although she is awkwardly shy around people, she really just wants to make friends. Because of this, Kanade is usually a lot more caring and affectionate around Pokémon than people.

Appearance: It is very rare for Kanade to have her long-and-choppy-turquoise-colored hair down; most of the time it is tied into a high and messy ponytail. She has no idea what to do about her bangs so they remain unruly, much to her chagrin. Kanade can’t really see without her glasses, but she never likes to wear them so she keeps them in a glasses case her pocket. Her eye color is purple. Kanade is usually seen wearing her favorite red jacket (and a scarlet T-shirt underneath), and red jogging pants with sneakers. Kanade likes to dress for the weather and comfortable clothes so it seems like she has no taste or interest in today's women’s fashion.

Background: Kanade often visits the gym to watch Flannery take on challengers. She does have a bit of an inferiority complex with the gym leader since they are around the same age, and while Flannery is already a gym leader, Kanade spends her time helping out her grandparents at the hot spring. After seeing how far behind she was from Flannery, Kanade confronted her grandparents about her wish to travel the Pokémon world and to become strong. They were surprised at first because they never knew what was going on in her head, but were pleased at the same time because they finally were able to let Kanade go grow on her own. She bid farewell to her grandparents shortly after that and began on her journey.

Kronis
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Hometown: Olivine City, Johto

Personality: Will is a real bubbly and joyful kind of kid. Some
people might find this annoying, but mostly people will like him. Will
sometimes pretends to be an airhead, but he is really a lot smarter than that
inside. He just uses that persona to throw people off. Will also loves to
dance, and feels that those who don’t when they’re at a dance lack souls. Will
also has a slight fear of blood. He can shrug off almost any blow, but if it
draws blood his confidence drains. Even little cuts need band-aids for Will. Will
is a huge klutz, and constantly apologizes. His stream of “I’m sorry”s can get
pretty annoying. Will is, surprisingly, a great cook.

Appearance: Will usually will wear a bright green t-shirt with a
pair of cartoonish eyes on the front. He also wears white cargo shorts that
have blue and green stripes running through them. His sneakers and laces are
bright white. Will’s arms and lower legs are slightly tanned, and his face is
noticeably Asian. Will is secretly chubby, but only a bit. It is only
noticeable if he isn’t wearing a shirt. As mentioned above, he will usually
have one or two band-aids on him.

Background: Will had a pretty normal life. He loved the city, had
plenty of friends, and could walk from his house to the beach. Whenever he
changed schools, he would start out acting like an oblivious fool. This way he
made sure that those he befriended would really like him. Before he had
problems of kids pretending to be his friend just so they could get his help on
tests. Most kids didn’t realize that the class airhead did the best
academic-wise. The only thing Will missed were Pokémon. He was the only kid
without them. Will’s parents weren’t confident in his ability to raise a
Pokémon until now.

Name: Yougirasu (or Yougi for short)
Age: 20, nearly 21.
Gender: Male
Hometown: Mossdeep City (Ftw!)

Personality: A calm and mindful person when around people, a one man wrecking ball when he's not (and stressed), Yougi offers a taste of both worlds to his faithful Pokémon. He enjoys growing Berry bushes, although he prefers to let pokemon/employee's do most of the hard work after his farm got off the ground, and has a fascination with anything berry-like. He has quite the imagination and would do anything not to lose it, he finds it to be the one passionate thing that separates him from everyone else. He's quite possessive and won't give away anything unless there's something good in it for him, which occasionally makes him seem like a bit of a miser. He's naturally quiet as he's often in a world of his own, but it makes things quite peaceful for those who are around him.

Appearance: Often found wearing jeans and trainers that resemble walking boots, Yougi cuts quite a plain figure. He has a variety of shirts and t-shirts (with shirts being preferred, followed by polo T-shirts) that he finds comfortable. If his needs are not met by his simple outfit, he has a simple summer jacket to protect him from the winds and a thicker coat with deep pockets for the colder, wetter environments. He sports mid-length short hair, with the back just touching his collar, that's a sandy brown in colour and wears a simple pair of glasses with it. Although he can be seen without his glasses by wearing contacts, with the small fortune he earnt, he bought a large variety of glasses so he could be comfortable in any situation. He has a small variety of scars across his hands and forearms, due to burns that occurred while helping out in kitchens.

Background: Hailing from the city or Mossdeep, you'd expect a certain toleration when it comes to water. But Yougi always resisted the stereotypes that were placed around him. His big break came in a region-wide berry shortage. Yougi had started work on a small farm in the backwaters of Mossdeep, where the Shoal Cave entrance could just be seen, using a new irrigation technique and the natural pure waters around the island. The few seeds he had flourished in the mulch enriched sand, causing his farm to roar into life in a very short period. With massive sales figures and profits that he couldn't of imagined, Yougirasu set out to grow as many different types of berries as he could. But his land quickly ran out. Pouring his hard earned money back into the land, Yougi bought a huge estate within the area that his small farm had started from and he avidly pursued a large enough farm to produce every kind of berry. Building a large house at the top of his land, Yougi hired a number of employee's with Pokémon to tend his lands while he set off in search for rare berries that he had not yet obtained. A number of years, and a number of specialised greenhouses, later, Yougi had achieved his goal and was now comfortably producing every sort of berry needed by trainers and folk alike. But his heart yearned for something more, a Pokémon to call his own, who he could share his berries with. With that, he set off to visit some of the Pokémon labs in nearby regions to find his perfect partner.

Personality:Hot tempered and fiery, you should definately not get on the wrong side of Rad. When he's not flared up, he's rather kind and prone to making bad jokes(usually poking fun at himself). If he doesn't like someone, he shows it openly. He is never ever cruel to a Pokémon, though. When he IS flared up, watch out, you're either going to get yelled at or a broken nose, depending on his temper. When he's stressed, he likes to sit down and collect himself.

Appearance: Wearing a Linkin Park black t-shirt and dark blue pants, Rad is your average person. He prefers sandals to boots, and has a wristband. With black hair and a nicely tanned body, it's rather obvious he's Indian. He also wears glasses, though it's not like he's Velma without them.

Background:He's nothing special.Raised in a middle classed family, he was content to have a job and work. Then, he was touched when he saw how really happy a boy was after getting his lost Pokémon back. He decided, then and there, to get his ass to Professor Birch.

Name: Dave Wells
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Hometown: Pastoria City, Sinnoh

Personality: Dave's a fairly quiet guy, though he opens up to those who know him. He was originally apathetic toward Pokémon, not really seeing the point in training them, though he did enjoy fishing up Water-types. He's shed this lazy attitude as of late, though he does still like his sleep and food, kinda like a Snorlax. He does have a passion for Water-types above all others, especially piscine Pokémon.

Appearance: Dave's about 6 foot 2 inches, with longish dark brown hair (not quite shoulder-length). He always wears glasses, as he's not great at seeing without them. He also usually wears T-shirts, as well as jeans and trainers, though he'll swap to shorts and sandals when the weather's sunny. He almost always wears blue.

Background: Born and raised in Pastoria, Dave loves wetlands, having spent a lot of time out in the Great Marsh, and as a result has great love for Water-type Pokémon, though he likes various others too. He's also a fan of Crasher Wake, the resident Gym Leader, his father and Wake being good friends, and Wake let Dave play with his Pokémon as a kid.

Name: Richard Naphir
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Hometown: Pewter City, Kanto

Personality: Richard is generally quite a quiet person, keeping his thoughts to himself when he's in a group unless addressed, at which point he'll happily natter on for hours. He tends to be quite nervous when meeting new people, but it doesn't really show until he speaks, at which point he'll occasionally muddle up words. Although he may not show it (and many are surprised to find), he has an extremely high competitive side, and will drive his Pokémon to the extremes in order to win, maybe even cruelly if necessary. He believes in strict training regimes, but when not training will show compassion to his Pokémon, and intends to learn the exact limits of his Pokémon so as he doesn't go over them and cause issues. He loves fossils, and is inspired by Brock's gym, as well as the matches shown on TV involving Roark and Byron, and especially Steven. He loves food, and will eat when he's bored, but due to his metabolism, he doesn't get any heavier.

Appearance: Richard is just below average height for his age, with a quite frail physique and limited muscles. Deep, brown, messy hair covers goes down to the top of his neck, as well as coming down in a fringe, but not quite at the height of his deep, brown eyes. He has a passion for chequered and lined shirts, taking three or four with him, but his main attire is as follows; A light blue and dark blue chequered shirt, a pair of deep blue tracksuit bottoms, a light blue under shirt, a brown rucksack and a pair of well worn brown trainers. He intends to keep PokéBalls in his pocket, and will keep any vital supplies in his rucksack.

Background: Richard was born in a house near to the Pewter Museum, and was fascinated by the idea of fossil Pokémon from an early age, heading into the museum on a daily basis in order to examine as much as he could. Watching the Gym Leader Brock battle was something he always enjoyed, as well as exploring of the nearby caves. Richard never actually travelled any further south than the Viridian Forest, and never any further east than Mount Moon. As such, his knowledge of the world is rather limited compared to his sparse knowledge of fossils. His father is the manager of the museum, as well as a renowned fossil finder, but he refuses to give any to his young song, arrogantly saying that they're better left unrestored (he's very anti-Cinibar). Richard's parents decided it was around time he went and saw the world, so urged him into taking a journey, which he eventually accepted, heading down to Pallet Town to start himself off.

Hometown: Snowpoint City, Sinnoh

Personality: Alexander is modest and quiet, and had always thought that risks shouldn't be taken. Despite
the the fact that as a child he tried hard to gain confidence and courage, he was often paranoid (to a point) and would just stay indoors all day. Now that he discovered how much he had missed out on because of his fears, he has promised himself to try to be as courageous as he can. Gradually, he's become a much braver person.

Appearance: Alexander is 5'10", with pale ivory skin and a slim physique. His jet black hair is razor cut surrounding his face, covering his eyebrows and ears. Underneath a thick jacket and sweatshirt, he wears a shirt length black trench coat (underneath is a cyan t-shirt) with some simple black jeans. His eyes are a deep blue, above a nose that obnoxiously points up and a small jaw.

Background: Being an only child in Snowpoint City, Alexander was always lonely. His father moved away to Oreburgh to support the family, and his mother would often have to take shifts at the Pokémart to make sure there was enough food on the table. As he started getting older, he would often watch challengers in the gym, which sparked his interest in Pokémon training. As his mother noticed how he had big dreams, she started working full-time at the Pokémart. For his 15th birthday, she gave him a ferry ticket to Johto.

Name: Alexander Kagura
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Hometown: Littleroot Town

Personality: Alexander is very straightforward, hyper-active, optimistic guy. He often rushes into situations without thinking about the outcome. He also is usually calm, and the only thing that can set him off is someone messing with someone close to him. He also won’t stop at something until he succeeds. He is also a huge flirt, hitting on almost any girl he comes in contact with. Sometimes however, he seems to have an opposite personality, and will think out the situation, and be almost solitary, except for his Pokémon.

Appearance: Alex stands at 5’9, and has a very athletic body. Despite this fact, he is very pale, and almost always burns instead of tanning. His hair is pitch black, with a small chunk of red that falls over his right eye. His eyes a bright blue ovals, which resemble the ocean. his ears are covered by his hair, but they are rounded when they can be seen.

His clothes consist of black, tight fitting jeans with grey boots. His shirt is also black, with a grey, sleeveless jacket over it, with a color that comes up to his neck. On his right wrist, he has a white bracelet with a symbol of the Pisces on it, which is his Zodiac sign.

Background: Living in Littleroot Town, he hasn’t seen much, and this is why he wants to go on a Pokémon journey. When he was little, he always played with local Pokémon, like Wurmple and Tailow. His mother stayed home and cared for wild Pokémon that would happen by their house, and his father, who also stayed home, would have Pokémon battles with Alexander, letting him use one of his Pokémon.

Name: Nick
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Hometown: Saffron City

Personality: Nick is a generally kind, thoughtful person. Not excellent at battling or Pokelore, Nick recognizes his status as a middle-of-the road trainer and accepts it. Pokémon for him is a pursuit of knowledge and friendship, the two things that he values as greater than all else. He is extremely forgiving of those that he wishes to befriend and is a giving person who tries to go into relationships simply in order to make those people happier than they were before. He is very self-conscious and lacks confidence in his abilities, but trusts his Pokémon and is confident in their
abilities.

Appearance: Nick is an overweight person who wears cargo shorts and comfortable walking shoes. His torso is covered by an undershirt and a plain button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He has glasses and trimmed
but longish hair for a guy (think Obi-Wan's haircut from Episode III), with a matching trim goatee. He keeps his various travel items in a spacious backpack made by Silph Co.

Background: Nick was born in Saffron City and grew up with a middle class family near the Magnet Train. Seeing all the Electric Pokémon that both powered and provided maintenance for the train, Nick has an affinity for the Electric type. When Nick was 15, his family sent him to live in Vermillion City where he studied Pokémon under Lt. Surge for a while. However, at age 16 when Nick attempted to come back to Saffron, his parents pretended they didn't know him, and disowned him. Disillusioned, Nick turned further to Pokémon and dropped his last name, vowing to start his own journey in a land far away. Working odd jobs for that random Machop guy in Vermillion, Nick was able to buy a ticket on the S.S. Anne and sail to Sinnoh, a land of fresh opportunity.

Name: Geoffry (Geo) Xi

Personality:
Geo has an outstanding knowledge of Pokémon and the environment, although not the best battler. He is unusually calm and loves his Pokémon, but when he battles he becomes very irrational. His main objective becomes winning above all else.
His favorite types are Fire, Ice, and Dark, and his favorite Pokémon being Growlithe and Arcanine. He relies on Pokémon to protect him and for company. He travels with one to three out at a time rather than storing them in PokéBalls.
Geo is solitary and tends to hold grudges. If anyone messes with him or his Pokémon there is no forgiveness, unless some miracle comes by.

Appearance:
Geo is small in stature, and dresses in dark shirts and jacket, and usually wears jeans. He has pale skin to contradict his night-black hair, which is cut to a medium length. He's considerably weak and skinny for his age.

Background:
Living on top of a jungle, Geo had much opportunity to separate himself from the rest of civilization. He spent most of his days in the darkness of the trees, playing with random Pokémon as they came by.
At age 12, Geo wandered to far into the forest and got lost. Giving up hope of return after searching for hours on end he sat down, only to find an Absol close to him. The absol, foretelling this event grabbed him and led him back to town. This sparked Geo eternal love for the Dark Type.
Although he had energetic and enthusiastic parents, he was always shy and quiet. Preferring a life of solitude over friendships, his only lifelong friend is his older sister, Sunny.

Name: BG
Age: ??? Assumed to be upper teens to lower twenties.
Gender: Male
Hometown: Mt. Silver, Johto
Personality: Unlike his real-world counterpart, BG tends to be more level-headed than his allies and enemies, and despises people for forcing EV spreads and other illegitimate bullcrap upon innocent Pokémon. In his opinion, Pokémon's greatest power can be achieved by treating it right to bring out its inner strength. In battle, he likes to use the environment to his advantage, or set up foes in a creative combonation attack, making him absolutely deadly even when he seems to be on the ropes. Towards people, he is quite friendly, but does so in a calm, collected way that may lead others to believe he is either cold or arrogant.

Appearance: A tall, lean man, toned very well from several different sports. His hair is a thick, shaggy brown, covered by a black and white baseball cap. To hide his identity, he straps a black mask over the lower half of his face, which also works as a filter against smoke and other harmful gasses. A long black scarf is wrapped around his neck, and he wears a white muscle shirt. The white shirt is covered by a black jacket, worn open unless in cold weather. To finish the ensemble, he has a pair of blue jeans and black shoes. Also worth noting are his ever-present "black gloves", a pair of fingerless black fighting gloves.

Background: Little is known about BG's past, but here's what we know for sure; at a young age, BG had an encounter with Entei, that scarred him for life. This attack also ended up killing his parents, resulting in his orphan-ing. Cliche, I know.

He was taken in by a monk, called Bonsai, who lived just outside Blackthorn City, who had left the Sprout Tower to the south. BG wanted revenge, but the monk told him that revenge would not solve anything. However, he was willing to teach the child self defense...

BG spent the next several years of his life training in the ways of the Blackthorn Dragon Martial Arts Style. His physical prowess became quite evident, and soon, he became a martial artist capable of almost super-human feats. The monk was quite proud, and gave BG a black scarf, the one that he still wears today.
About 10 or so years after the training, Entei appeared once again. This time, BG attempted to confront it head on, but he was thrown off by the might of the legendary. The Fire-Type then spat out a black flame that burned the back of the martial artist's hands, and strange symbols appeared... The symbols turned bright red, filled with the power of fire, and soon, the trainer's whole body was engulfed in a living fire- a curse from Entei.

The legendary fled, his work done, as the bestial-formed boy rampaged the mountainside, headed for the city. He was cutoff partway by his teacher, and an epic battle began. After a five-day struggle, the teacher managed to seal the beast by covering the symbols with a pair of black, power-sealing gloves, but it cost him his life. The trainer buried his master, then, after a short period of mourning, decided that to beat that Entei, he would need the assistance of a Pokémon...

• Due to his training on Mt. Silver, BG his quite capable in the school of Blackthorn Dragon Style Martial Arts.

Name: Kaito Ishimaru
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Hometown: Lavendar Town
Personality: Kaito is a fairly shy young gentleman, being rather quiet
and polite to everyone he meets, even if they're rude to him at first. He's
very impulsive and emotional, usually performing brash and reckless actions
when his emotions get the better of him. He's also a tad forgetful and very
curious. He will go snooping around if something seems suspicious, or press
people on subjects they feel nervous talking about. Not because he means to be
rude, but just because he loves to know things.

Kaito is very nervous around strangers because he likes making a good first
impression, unless he's with a good friend of his. In that case he tends to act
a lot more open and not shy at all. Kaito has no problem with akward silences
or things like that either, as he generally likes being quiet. He's not very
good at expressing what he means, and so opening his mouth can often get him in
trouble as well, which is another good reason why Kaito prefers remaing quiet.

Kaito is incredibly lazy and clumsy, therefore being very inactive when it comes to sports and the like. Work sounds almost as bad to Kaito as sports, at least he has a less chance of embarrassing himself while working. He's also quite the procrastinator, relishing the idea of doing anything he wouldn't find fun or beneficial. Doing favours are tiresome, and work he does because it's his job though he enjoys doing things for people he likes, generally because he enjoys making people happy.

Appearance: Kaito is about the average height for a sixteen year old boy, being only a tad shorter than a few other guys he knows. He is also horribly thin, having an amazing metabolism that allowed him to pig out on anything and gain next to no weight. He weighs a whopping 110 pounds. Hardly any of which is muscle, the result of Kaito being lazy and unathletic.

Kaito fashions a pair of faded blue jeans and a white t-shirt with a dress
shirt overtop. The dress shirt is usually left open to flow in the wind, though
occassionally Kaito will begin playing with the buttons and do a few of them
up. He'll always un-do them right away, but it's just sort of a thing he does
sub-consciously.

Around his waist is a belt which has spots for him to hold his PokéBalls.
Around his left wrist is a silver watch that he uses when he wonders what time
it is, which is very often compared to most people. He won't really care or
need to know the time, he'll just randomly check. It's like the things with the
buttons on his shirts. He just does it, sub-consciously almost.

His hair is a dark brown color and is quite long for most boys, reaching almost
all the way down the back of his neck, hanging down at the sides before veering
up and outwards away from his head a bit. His bangs are long as well, the same
length as the rest of his hair. He wears them on the left side of his face, out
of the way of his eyes, though more often then not they find their way back
over his left eye. His hair is very clean and brushed to perfection, not that
he's a huge freak about his hair. He likes to keep it really nice and long, but
it if gets mucked up it really doesn't matter to him.

Background: Kaito has lead a more or less normal and boring life. He was
born when his parents were pretty young, his dad being in university studying
to become a pilot and his mom training to become a police officer. His birth
wasn't planned, and as his father had a tonne of debt due to school fees he
tried to persuade Kaito's mother to get an abortion. Kaito's mother refused
though, as she did not believe in abortion. Kaito's father didn't wish to bring
a child into the world while he was so financially unstable. He also wanted to
finish school because he had spent so much money and time into getting his
pilot's liscense that it would all be a huge waste if he gave up now. He didn't
want to have his debts hinder the lives of Kaito and his mother, either and so
he left shortly before Kaito was born.

Kaito was born in Lavendar Town, Kanto, but shortly after Kaito's mother moved
back in with her parents in Hoenn so that her parents could help raise the
child while she focused on getting a job and earning a decent living to raise
the child on her own. She worked tirelessly to provide for her child, and the
boy grew up healthily and happy, with the closest thing he had to a father
being Kaito's mothers dad; his grandfather. Time passed, and the family led a
happy life, normal life. Kaito became quite the intelligent boy, but was a
horrible athletic. He refrained from joining any sports teams in school and
pretty much died during gym classes. He hated doing much of anything other than
having fun. Everything was relatively amazing until Kaito was about ten.
Kaito's mother decided to move out of her parents house and live on her own,
with Kaito of course.

So far, the two of them have been leading a fairly happy life in Littleroot
Town. Kaito got a job after he was a bit older to help support his mother. He's
16 now, and his mother has finally convinced him to leave home and become a
Pokémon trainer. Everyone who knew Kaito knew that he was fascinated with
Pokémon and the idea of having is very own and living along side them. When he
became 12, he right out refused to leave his mother and go on such a selfish
quest, mostly because he was too nervous. By age 13 Kaito was beginning to feel
a bit let down as most of his friends had become trainers and left town. Age 14
came, and he had gained his confidence, ready to go out and become a trainer,
but he still didn't have the heart to let his mother go and let her live on her
own. Age 15, Kaito's mother met someone, and the two became engaged shortly
before he turned 16. He kept an eye on his mom though, to make sure she was
happy and that who she had found was right for her. When he did turn 16, both
of them encouraged him to leave. His mom was happy again, having fallen in love
with someone else, and Kaito didn't need to worry about leaving her all alone
in her house while he was off having the time of his life.
So he left.

Preferred region of travel: Kanto or Johto, but I'll go with Hoenn.

Misc. Information:
-He very much wishes to return to his home region of Kanto.
-He forms very loving bonds with his Pokémon, making them very loyal and friendly towards him. If Kaito were ever in danger, they would spring into action without even thinking.
-Kaito often speaks of a friend of his whom was forced to move away when Kaito was very young. He isn't sure where, or if the friend is even in Hoenn anymore, but part of the reason he wants to become a trainer is so that he can perhaps one day find this friend.

Hometown: Alto Mare, Hoenn

Personality: Marion is wild and adventurous, yet quiet and shy around new people. He loves the seashore and running barefoot across the sand. He is an adept swimmer, climber, and runner, but lacks in areas of academics; he isn’t stupid, but he doesn’t appreciate scholarly learning either. His sense of justice is somewhat blurred – having very little money can leave him in desperate situations, and he will steal if it means saving him from starvation. However, he hates criminals.

Appearance: Marion is a lean young man with sandy brown hair and blue-grey eyes. He has a small nose that turns up slightly and his cheeks are adorned with freckles. He is athletic and this shows in his arms, legs, and torso. On his head he wears a straw hat, and on his feet he wears thin-soled sandals. Marion wears denim shorts and a green button-up shirt – both are worn but not too noticeably. A belt around his waist holds his PokéBalls. A small dagger is concealed in his shorts pocket, but it’s rarely used.

Background: If someone asked Marion about his past, he would answer evasively and nonchalantly that he had grown up on the sea, and had a wild and exciting childhood, and now that is all in the past. Further questions might make him uncomfortable and change the subject. It can be gathered though that he was born in the canal city of Alto Mare, but disappeared suddenly out of the blue, only to turn up nearly ten years later. His parents are either gone or not interested in him, leaving him completely without care. Some children go on a Pokémon journey to make friends; Marion travels because he has no home.

Misc. Information: Marion is fairly promiscuous. He has a romantic heart, and will often fall hopelessly in love with someone for a day or two before moving on.

Hometown: Blackthorn City, Johto

Personality: Tobias isn't good with people. He has a self confidence problem, and instantly assumes people don't like him. He lets his guard down far too soon, and ends up getting used a lot. He actually is a kind and caring person, and strives his hardest to be a good friend. He also isn't very funny, mostly because he can't empathize with someone else's humor.
With Pokémon, however, Tobias is very confident, much prefering their company to humans. He is a stern trainer, demanding obedience, but doting and caring as well. He has an affinity for Dragon Pokémon, probably due to his hometown. He's not good at thinking strategically ahead, but he excels at solving problems.

Appearance: Tobias is fairly tall for his age, atanding at 5'8". He is thin because has an extremely fast metabolism, which causes him to eat huge amounts of food without gaining any wait. He has short greyish brown colored hair, dark brown eyes, and a square face. He generally wears polo's, Shorts, and sandals, except when the climate does not allow him to. He has bad vision, and early in the morning or late at night when his contacts are not in he can be seen awuinting almost constantly.

Background: Growing up in Blackthorn City, Tobias quickly developed a love for Dragon Pokémon. He waited and waited for the day he would be allowed in the Dragon's Den, but it was required that you must be a skilled Pokémon trainer. When told this, Tobias decided that he would travel to another region and become a skilled trainer and only return when he deemed himself ready. It took a while to convince his parents, but eventually they let him go.

Misc Information: Tobias is mildly claustrophobic and has some fear of deep waters.

Name: Salamencia (Sal for short)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Hometown: Violet City

Personality: When you first meet him, you wouldn’t think much of Sal. He’s rather quiet usually, and tries to avoid forming an opinion on someone until he knows more about them. Due to this, it takes a while for him to trust someone fully, and when he meets a new person, he will often ask them questions to try to get to know them. To his friends, however, Sal is open and pleasant, and will often try to get his own opinion into a conversation. He is compassionate towards others, and hates to see people suffering. Despite this, he is competitive, and will always see a battle to the very end, as he believes that he fights best under pressure. His emotions sometimes get the better of him, and he is liable to act rashly. He is also intelligent and logically-minded, and has good deductive skills because of it. Although his logical mind means he dislikes taking risks, he will make somewhat irrational moves in battles to try and learn new strategies.

Appearance: Sal is about 6 foot tall and fairly well built, with rather pale skin. His hair is short, and a dark brown colour. He wears glasses all of the time, although he can find his way around fairly well without them. He usually wears a royal blue T-shirt, black jeans and black trainers. However he always carries a few extra items of clothing in case of emergency or a sudden drastic change in weather. He also wears a digital watch on his wrist, as he is a fanatic about being on time for any event, and always carries the same white cap with him.

Background: Growing up in Violet City, Sal idolised the local Gym Leader, Falkner, and as such has always had a passion for Flying type Pokémon. Due to this, he spent a lot of time trying to learn everything he could about Pokémon, so he could one day train to face his idol in battle. He rarely left the house because of this, and didn’t grow up with many friends. However, he was never bothered by this. During his teenage years, Sal’s family often went on holidays that took him away from Violet City, through which he learned of various other Pokémon, and his love for Flying types became a love for Pokémon in general. However, he still preferred Flying types, as well as gaining a newfound love for Fire types. These holidays were also where he got his love of adventure from. At about 14, Sal began to get outside more to see the world, as well as beginning to learn various skills to help him in later life (e.g. cooking), and he made a few friends at that time too. These first friends meant the world to him, giving him his compassionate side. Eventually, he decided that he would begin a journey of his own, so he headed to the nearest port city and got on a ferry bound for the Sinnoh region.

Personality: Gale is a guy who is quick the crack a joke, he has a good humor but when he gets mad he tends to get very mad. He is generally a calm and levelheaded person who is fun to be around. He tends to be a hard worker but sometimes get lazy and when he gets lazy it's all a downward spiral before another random inspiration. All in all he is a fun guy but if he gets mad you may want to stay clear of him.

Appearance: Gale is about 5'10" with pure blonde hair and glasses. He has very pale skin and never ever tans. He tends to just throw on whatever he wants to wear, generally a random pair of shorts and a T-Shirt.

Background: Growing up in Blackthorn City, Gale didn't think much of it. He tended to just go in and out of life not caring too much about Pokémon. The reason for this is because when Gale was about 12 he fell into the waters behind the gym in Blackthorn City. Gale can't swim to save his life and the there was no one to save him. As he was running out of energy to kick himself up he saw Magikarps mocking him by splashing around in the pool. He sunk to the bottom but was thankfully saved by his mother who, by then, had heard his screams and noticed him missing. Gale vowed to hate all Pokémon especially Magikarp from that day forth. However, one day he saw a poor Swinub being beat up by a Skamory. He felt compelled to aid the Swinub by, in an anime style fashion, stupidly jumping in front of a beak made of steel and getting his whole arm a nice scar. He did manage to save the Swinub however and then he began to desire to capture Pokémon with a sudden interest in these creatures. It was like rediscovering cooking all over again. He no longer hated Pokémon, except Magikarp, and decided that he would one day go on a journey with Pokémon of his own. Which is where he stands today waiting to get on the boat to Hoenn.
