Route 27

To the east of New Bark Town, Route 27 is a rocky forest that is fragmented by various beaches and bodies of water. In order to pass through, you must go through a cavernous tunnel where the HM Waterfall is required.

Route 26

Route 26 takes a path north of Route 27, and is pressed into a mountainous area, while still flanked by the ocean. Many tough trainers and wild Pokémon like to fight here. To the north is a guardhouse that leads to Victory Road as well as Silver Cave.

Victory Road

Victory Road is the true test of all trainers and coordinators who wish to take on the Elite Four. It is an intricate system of caves, full of tough Pokémon trainers, and aggressive wild Pokémon as well. One must have good endurance if they wish to make it all the way through in one piece.

Indigo Plateau

Upon exiting Victory Road, you find yourself at Route 23, the front door of the prestigious Indigo Plateau. There is a Pokémon Center and a Pokémart to rest your exhausted Pokémon. Though this is where Trainers hope to end up as it is the home to the famed Elite Four. Do you have what it takes to be a champion?

Route 28

Route 28 branches to the west of the guardhouse on Route 27, and is a mountainous path full of strong wild Pokémon. There are many trees about and even a couple of small ponds. Once across, you will find yourself at the most isolated training place in all of Johto, Mt. Silver. Beating the Johto Elite 4 is required to gain entry.

Silver Cave

The Silver Cave, like Victory Road, is an intense system of caverns, where Flash might be useful to see and the wild Pokémon are tough and aggressive. There are rumored to be some rare Pokémon inhabiting the area and also a rumor of a legendary person who trains in the deepest parts in solitude. A Pokémon center sits outside to prepare you for the struggle ahead.
