The Itemdex
Because certain items have special properties that are translated very differently from the games to a roleplaying form, here is a list of such items that have different uses here in Pokémon Revolution.
Items:
Repel, Super Repel & Max Repel: Using a Repel will make Pokémon less likely to appear while you travel on a route. A Repel will make weak Pokémon less likely to appear, while Super Repel make weak as well as average to above average Pokémon less likely to appear. Max Repel make it so all wild Pokémon are less likely to appear. Please note that using any kind of Repel does NOT boost your chances of finding stronger Pokémon; it just makes the chance of finding a wild Pokémon less likely. The duration for a Repel lasts for one Route.
Evolution Items:
Medicine:
Potions and other Health Restoring Items: Potions and items similar to them restore both health as well as energy when used on a Pokémon. How much they recover though depends on the Pokémon's level and how strong the Potion is.
PokéBalls:
TMs & HMs:
Now, in the games you will know that it was as simple as pressing a few buttons and in less than a few seconds you'd have taught the desired TM or HM to the desired Pokémon. In Pokémon Revolution, its a bit different. Your PokéDexes are fitted with a disc drive which is used solely for the purpose of utlising the power of the TM or HM. If you wish to teach one of your Pokémon a TM or HM, place the disc inside your PokéDex. This will produce a beam of light in the colour associated with the move you want to teach. If you shine it over the Pokémon you want to learn the move, and they are compatible, your Pokémon will glow the same colour and the beam will stop. This isn't a fool-proof method as now you have given them the knowledge of the move, but you'll have to help them learn it and practice using it to become masters of it. Also, a point of note, the CD containing the TMs become corrupted after one use, so they are of no use to after the first time.

Evolution Items:
- Evolution Stones- Simply use them in your adventure like you would any other item.
- Held Evolution Items- Make sure your Pokémon is using the proper item as a held item and the updator is aware of it. When your Pokémon next levels up, they will be permitted to evolve.
- Trade Evolution Items- Make sure your Pokémon is using the proper item as a held item and then proceed to trade it to someone else through the Union Room. Immediate trade-backs are allowed.

Re: The Itemdex
Which ones? Stones are just used by giving them to your Pokémon in your update like any other item, but trade evolution items are done by using the Union Room Trading Center. Just find someone to trade with, and then trade back.
Re: The Itemdex
What about level-up evolution items, like the Oval Stone or Razor Claw/Fang?

Re: The Itemdex
It's simple, the Pokémon must be holding the item and then they can evolve once they level up.
